8th Annual Latina Center Maria Gala & Award Ceremony

May 10 @ 7:00 pm EDT

Support LCTV with your membership

We are inviting to all of you to the 8th Annual Gala Fundraiser, and the ‘Special Recognitions, and Inspirational Mother & Woman 2023’ Awards Ceremony.  This event will be held on Friday, May 10th at 7:00 pm at Spinelli’s Lynnfield (10 Newbury St. Peabody, MA).
Mother’s Day Gala serves as a fundraiser event aimed at supporting the mission of the Latina Center to empower these mothers, who are often unseen heroines, marginalized by Anglo society due to their lack of English proficiency. The gala is dedicated to raising funds for scholarships that will enable these Latino mothers to continue their education and further their personal and professional development. Through the scholarships provided by the Mother’s Day Gala, these mothers will have the opportunity to access resources and support that will help them overcome barriers and pursue their educational goals. These scholarships will open doors for these mothers and empower them to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
We are writing to share some exciting news! Latina Center Maria will be celebrating its seventh anniversary in May! We are extremely excited about the work we’ve done during our first seven years and are very hopeful about the impact we can generate for Latinas in the near future, and building a strong Lynn community, but in order to do so, we need your help.
But first, we would like to share some our achievements in the past eight years. From 2016 to now:
  • Lat September, we opened the “Escuela Latina” (271 Western Av. Suite 101. • ESL -English as a Second Language Classes for Latino mothers and workers.
  •         * Monthly Professional Development Workshops. From 2016 to 2024, about 3,500 people have benefitted from our monthly professional, entrepreneurship, and emotional development workshops.
