2023 Liberation for All / Liberacion Para Todo

Liberation for All focuses on liberation for marginalized people (i.e., Black, Indigenous, People of Color). Taking place on the Fourth of July, this event signifies the ongoing pursuit for freedom, independence, and liberation for these respective communities.
This initiative is an expansion of our Occupy Wyoma Square Protest. DPU has, annually, organized this protest featuring local activists, performers, and a reenactment of Frederick Douglass ’What to the Slave is the Fourth of July’. This year, we will expand this event to include a community gathering.
The event will take place on July 4th at 12:00 pm, beginning at Manning Park in Lynn.
