2023 Mega Scarf Bomb

Get ready for Community Warmth Project’s Mega Scarf Bomb in Central Square! Volunteers are needed to join us to help hang scarves on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 9:00 AM EST in Central Square, Lynn, MA.
What is a scarf bomb, you ask? It’s when we decorate public spaces with colorful scarves to spread warmth and cheer during the chilly winter months. The scarves are tagged with a card that reads, “Free! Take Me” in multiple languages. No need to bring anything! We have been busy creating 2000 No Sew Fleece Scarves, and with your help, we are ready to get busy!
Don’t miss out on this unique and heartwarming experience!
This event was made possible by a grant provided by the Creative Cities program through the city of Lynn, and with donations from our Windchill Warriors, and other individuals who believe in kindness, and generosity, and that everyone deserves a chance at warm things for cold days.
