Park clean-ups
Flax Pond Clean Ups – Spring 2024
May 4 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am EDT
The Flax Pond Association has announced its Spring 2024 clean-up locations and dates. The non-profit organization has partnered with the City of Lynn to provide clean up equipment and dumpsters for volunteers to join them as they clean-up areas around the pond.
Clean-up activities include picking up litter and removing overgrown brush from around the pond. Volunteers will be provided gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, and other equipment to help with the clean-up. The events will take place on two separate dates:

April 20, 2024 at the pond end of Maple Street between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

May 4, 2024 along Lake View Avenue between 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
“Flax Pond is a great resource for our community to enjoy, and these clean-ups provide an opportunity for residents to get involved and take some ownership to keep it beautiful,” said Paul Gouthro, President of the Association.
Those residents who live along the pond and others who enjoy activities on the pond are encouraged to participate in an event, and all are welcome.
