Opening Reception | Local Black Excellence

Our definition of Local Black Excellence: A person of color from Essex County that holds no prejudice towards Black Americans, embraces and is proud of being Black, has achieved in career, has contributed greatly to their community, or has achieved in both community contributions and career!

We will choose 10-12 recipients per year. A bio and picture is required by Dec 1.

The short bio and picture of those recognized as Local Black Excellence will be added to a banner to be displayed throughout Black History Month at Lynn City Hall.
