Opening Reception | “Resiliency of the Human Spirit”

Join us for the grand opening of GALA’s 2024 Season. GALA will be opening its doors to this year with 2 great exhibits.
In the main gallery, we celebrate Black History Month with a wide range of mediums and styles, from black artists to pieces representing black history.
Then, in the community gallery, there is the Resiliency of the Human Spirit Exhibit. This exhibit captures the strength, courage, and perseverance of individuals facing challenges. Some of the pieces were inspired on the events of the 1860 Shoemakers’ Strike.
Mark your calendar and join us for the grand opening reception at GALA. There will be appetizers and a diverse selection of beverages, ranging from handcrafted cocktails, wines, to refreshing non-alcoholic mocktails, ensuring there’s a delightful choice for every palate.
