Emmanuelle Le Gal is proud to present the opening of her new exhibition titled “Art Inspired by the new Lynn bike path.” Her show has two parts.
- The first part, her Pop-Up exhibit, will be on view at Galleries At LynnArts (GALA) on:
- Thursday, August 31st from 1 – 4pm
- Friday, September 1st from 5:30 – 8pm (OPENING RECEPTION)
- Saturday, September 2nd from 11am – 5pm
- Sunday, September 3rd from 1pm – 4pm
- The second part will be an outdoor installation along the Bike Path in Lynn MA from September 9th to September 25th. She hopes her show will remind people on how transformative public places can be.
Emmanuelle Le Gal’s vision skills and passion for the bike path have guided her exhibit. The Northern Strand Community Trail and The Lynn Community Path have provided Lynn residents with an additional ten miles of trail. Thousands of residents have had a new way to connect with each other and to discover the natural beauty of the area. Her exhibit at GALA, in the Community Gallery, will give people an opportunity to see her original watercolor paintings. The subjects of the art pieces will vary from landscapes, wildlife and portraiture to capture a diverse set of moments.
“The Lynn Bike Project is very close to my heart. I live right by it and have watched the evolution from old railroad tracks to gravel to a beautiful, paved path lined by daisies. I’ve seen how the trail has become an integral part of the city as a corridor bubbling with life and beauty.”

Her free installation in September will consist of 20 paintings printed and placed along the bike path. It will start where the trail crosses the Saugus/Lynn border at Marsh View Park (Boston St.) and will end at Bennett Street Bridge. Emmanuelle Le GaI was awarded a Lynn Cultural Council grant and a Lynnspire Creative City grant to support her project.
“During the summer, the beginning of the bike path immerses you in the vibrant green of the surrounding salt marsh. On a sunny, summer day, it’s easy to forget the city is so nearby. Following the trail into Lynn, you will twist and turn through an urban jungle. At times, you’ll be met with by a mural, a pop of color that snags your attention as you move along.”
Friday, September 1st will also be the opening reception of GALA’s new exhibit titled “Inspired By Words.”
Emmanuelle Le Gal is a local Lynn resident and has experienced success through a multifaceted career as an artist and graphic designer. Emmanuelle Le Gal is also a former board member at Galleries At LynnArts (GALA), an arts-based collaborative and artist-run community gallery located in downtown Lynn.
