Public Information Session | Essex Street Reconstruction

March 6 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm EST

Support LCTV with your membership

Essex Street, from Joyce Avenue to Eastern Avenue, has been funded for a $20 million dollar reconstruction through the State Transportation Improvement Program. Construction will begin in 2025 and include improvements to the roadway, sidewalks, crosswalks, drainage, signs, pavement markings, and overall design.

Four of the intersections included in the corridor are listed as Top 200 High Crash Locations in the state according to MassDOT, and this project aims to make the whole project area safer, more accessible, and more convenient.

These sessions are meant to encourage residents to learn more or discuss about the project, in the scenario that they cannot make it to the main workshops.
