Tour of Abolitionist Graves

Join the Sons of Union Veterans, 54th Mass Volunteers, & Living Historian Michael Crutcher as Frederick Douglass for a brief memorial service followed by a tour of graves. Julia Greene will give the tour, which focuses on those who helped build the anti-slavery movement.
This event is one of two events on October 4th commemorating the 16oth anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, Battle of Gettysburg, and Gettysburg Address. The other event will be a discussion with several speakers held at the Lynn Auditorium at 6pm. More info on the “Defending Democracy” event can be found here.
