Sunsets can be a challenging subject in watercolor because the order in which colors are applied is essential. Starting with the right colors and preserving their freshness helps prevent the painting from becoming muddy. In this workshop\, you’ll learn how to simplify a scene\, create glowing skies\, and use watercolor techniques that will make your sunset shine. What better inspiration than the beautiful sunsets over Lynn Shore Drive? \nJoin French artist Emmanuelle Le Gal for an evening of watercolor painting in a welcoming and creative atmosphere. Learn watercolor techniques through live demonstrations and hands-on practice\, with guidance for all experience levels.\nBeginners and experienced artists are all welcome!\n\nThis is a wonderful opportunity for Emmanuelle to share her love of watercolor and help grow a vibrant local art community.\n\nJuly Workshop: Paint a glowing sunset in watercolor\nWednesday\, July 8 from 5 – 7:30 PM\nCost: $25 per workshop\nAll materials included\, limited to 15 students — first come\, first served\n\nEach month will feature a new subject\, with future workshop dates coming soon.\nPlease click here to register\n\nCome relax\, create\, and enjoy the beauty of watercolor this summer. DESCRIPTION:From the Galleries at LynnArts: Got a mystery medium\, strange tool\, forgotten supply\, or “I bought this but have no idea what it does” item sitting in your studio? Bring it with you! \nPlay with Your Paint Night is an informal evening of creative play\, experimentation\, and shared knowledge. Artists are invited to bring materials from their own practice that they want to explore\, test\, or finally figure out. Together\, we’ll try things out\, swap tips\, ask questions\, and see what happens. \nNo pressure. No perfect outcomes. Just curiosity\, community\, and a chance to play. \nAll skill levels are welcome\, free community event.

DESCRIPTION:From United Lynn Pride: As part of Pride Month activities\, the Lynn Museum & Arts Center (LMAC) along with United Lynn Pride (ULP) have teamed up for their 6th annual Lynn PRIDE gallery show. This gallery show will run from June 26 through October 10 in the Museum building’s second-floor community gallery.\n\nAuthentically YOU is a gallery theme that celebrates the full spectrum of queer identity\, expression\, and becoming. The concept centers on self‑definition\, visibility\, and the courage it takes to live as your truest self in a world that often demands conformity.
