SUMMARY:2026 LPS All-City Art Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:From Beyond Walls: Head down to GALA for the annual Lynn Public Schools All-City Art Exhibit’s opening reception on March 25th from 4-6pm! \nMany of the pieces were created through Beyond Walls’ educational initiative\, Classroom to the Streets\, which is run in partnership with St. Mary’s and Lynn Public Schools. Classroom to the Streets brings professional artists and real-world creative experiences directly into the classroom\, empowering students to explore their voices\, build confidence\, and see themselves as contributors to their communities through public art. \nThis work and the impact you will see reflected in these pieces would not be possible without the incredible partnership and leadership of Dr. Patty Klibansky from Lynn Public Schools and Nadine Desiderio from St. Mary’s. Their shared commitment to collaboration is truly at the heart of Beyond Walls and what makes this initiative so meaningful. \nBoth school systems will be participating in this colorful\, annual LPS citywide event\, and while many works are inspired by Classroom to the Streets\, there will also be a wide range of additional\, outstanding student artwork on display from Lynn Public Schools. \nThe images below are based off murals in Downtown Lynn by Bordalo II\, created by students at Sisson Elementary School.

SUMMARY:2026 Krama Night - Khmer New Year Kick-off Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:From Kakrona Center Inc.: Our journey toward the 2026 Khmer New Year Festival begins with an evening of community\, connection\, and purpose at the beautiful Bayside Venue in Nahant. This fundraiser is the heartbeat of our planning process\, as it provides the essential resources needed to bring our cultural celebrations to life. Kakrona Center Inc. is a non-profit organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers who believe in the power of preserving our heritage. \nEvery ticket purchased and every donation made at this event goes directly toward the high costs of organizing a city-wide festival—from securing professional live entertainment and traditional dance troupes to covering essential city permits and public safety services. By joining us for this fundraiser\, you are doing more than attending a party; you are investing in the visibility of the Cambodian community in Lynn. Your support ensures that we can continue to offer a high-quality\, safe\, and vibrant space for our elders to pass down traditions and for our youth to celebrate their roots. We invite you to be a part of this foundational effort to make our 2026 festival the most successful one yet. \nADMISSION: $55\, includes banquet-style dinner \nATTIRE: Black tie \nFEATURING: Live Khmer music\, raffles\, & a silent auction of traditional Khmer art \nPLEASE RSVP AT KAKRONACENTER@GMAIL.COM \nClick here for information on the Khmer new year festival
