DESCRIPTION:From Grace UMC Lynn: Mark your calendars\, animal lovers! On Saturday\, September 27 at 1 p.m.\, Grace United Methodist Church is hosting a special Blessing of the Animals ceremony on our front lawn. \nWhether your best friend is a dog\, a cat\, a hamster\, a lizard\, or a snake\, bring them all! We’ll be offering individual blessings for every pet. If your furry (or scaly!) friend is a little shy\, no problem—you can bring a photo of them instead. We’ll also have a Memorial Table so you can honor and remember any pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Everyone is welcome\, no matter your faith! \nAll animals must be on a leash or in a carrier\nWe have some extra goodies for you and your pets\, too: \n\nPet Food Drive: We’re collecting pet food donations for the Northeast Animal Shelter\, so please consider bringing a contribution if you can.\nRabies Vaccination Clinic: VANS (Veterinary Association of the North Shore) will be on-site from 1-3 p.m. offering rabies vaccinations for only $10.00. Please bring proof of prior vaccination if you have it. All proceeds support scholarships for vet students!\n\nCome celebrate the joy and love our animal companions bring to our lives.
