SUMMARY:2027 North Shore Veterans & First Responders Parade
DESCRIPTION:From the Lynn Veterans Council: The Lynn Veterans Council will be holding a parade to remember\, honor\, and never forget those individuals who lost their lives in that terrible terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11.  It is the 25th anniversary for the Global War on Terror\, and of course the 250th Birthday of America. \nPlease note: this parade was rescheduled from September 2026\, due to inclement weather. \nThere will be multiple marching bands\, Grand Marshals (Veterans Grand Marshal\, Police Grand Marshal\, and Fire Grand Marshal)\, military vehicles (including a tank)\, local Junior ROTC Programs\, numerous military organizations\, numerous police vehicles (old & new)\, numerous fire trucks\, and trolleys to have veterans and first responders that cannot walk the parade\, but want to be in the parade so they can ride. \nThe Lynn Veterans Council is currently looking for volunteers\, marchers\, sponsors\, and donations – more details will be announced closer to the event. \n_______________________ \nFor more information on volunteering\, donating\, and more please call 781-462-8888\, follow them at Facebook.com/lynnveteranscouncil\, email Lynnveteranscouncil@gmail.com\, or visit lynnveteranscouncil.com. \n_______________________ \nInterview with parade organizers:\n \n_______________________\nParade route\n \nThe parade route is about 1.5 miles in length.
