DESCRIPTION:Lynn Community Television will be holding this forum with candidates running for Ward 5 Councilor LIVE on August 18\, 2025 at 7pm. This will be broadcast on our Government Channel\, website\, Facebook\, and YouTube. The candidates for this race are Augustina Matos\, Cardeliz Paez\, Liliana Patino\, & Josh Polonsky. LCTV Board Member Joe Scanlon will serve as moderator.\n\nThis year the City of Lynn is holding Municipal Elections for Mayor\, Councilor At-Large\, Ward Councilors\, & School Committee. The Preliminary Election will be held on September 2nd and Final Election will be held on November 4th. You can find out more about the candidates for every race in this year’s election by visiting LynnTV.org/election for important voting information\, candidate bios\, and more for this and other races.\n\n\nPlease note: Only the two top candidates for Ward 5 Councilor will advance from the Preliminary election to November. This is the only race affected\, all other candidates will advance.
