A Letter from Latina Center Maria is below:\n\nDear friends\,\n\nWe hope this letter finds you well. We are inviting to all of you to the 9th Annual Gala Fundraiser\, and the ‘Inspirational Woman & Man 2025’ Awards Ceremony.  This event will be held on Friday\, May 9th 2025 at 7:00 pm at Spinelli’s Lynnfield (10 Newbury St. Peabody\, MA).\n\nAnnual Gala serves as a fundraiser event aimed at supporting the mission of the Latina Center to empower Latino mothers\, who are often unseen heroines. The gala is dedicated to raising funds for scholarships that will enable these Latino mothers to continue their education and further their personal goals. These scholarships will open doors for these Latino people and empower them to build brighter futures not only for themselves\, but also strengthens their families and the entire community. The Gala itself is not only a fundraising event but also a celebration of the strength\, resilience\, and achievements of these remarkable Latino mothers.\n\nWe are writing to share some exciting news! Latina Center Maria will be celebrating its nineth anniversary in May! Our organization is doing amazing work in the community by providing valuable skills and support in many different areas at Escuela Latina\, which is playing a critical role in helping people navigate challenges. We are offering the following classes:\n\n\nEnglish as Second Language (ESL) Classes for mothers with Children Book Club for their kids. Also\, ESL for workers (6:00pm to 9:30pm)\nComputer Class\nHome Health Aide Training\nBasic acrylic nails\nBasic sewing\nCitizenship\nCredit repair training\, emotional support group\, home buyer training\, Immigration Clinic\, and Parenting.\n\nAll of them must have a huge impact on people’s lives. From May of 2016 to now\, LCM (Latina Center Maria) have fifty two hundred twenty (5\,220) beneficiaries\, all of them are Latino immigrants from fourteen countries of Latin America.\n\nWe are extremely excited about the work we’ve done during our first nine years and are very hopeful about the impact we can generate for Latinos in the near future\, and building a strong Lynn community\, but in order to do so\, we need your help.\n\nThe donation for the Gala is – Ticket: $150.00. (Table of ten people $1\,350). You can donate in our web page: www.latinacentermaria.org (“Gala Tickets” button) write a note with your name\, and the number of tickets and let us know by email. Unfortunately\, the wet weather presents significant challenges to our operations\, from logistical complications to the risk of damage to our band and DJ equipment. In light of this\, we believe that postponing the event is the most responsible and safest option for all involved. \nWe deeply apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.
