SUMMARY:Monthly Watercolor Workshop - Summer into Art\, July 2026
DESCRIPTION:From Emmanuelle Le Gal: Our next watercolor workshop will focus on painting a sunset. Sunsets can be a challenging subject in watercolor because the order in which colors are applied is essential. Starting with the right colors and preserving their freshness helps prevent the painting from becoming muddy. In this workshop\, you’ll learn how to simplify a scene\, create glowing skies\, and use watercolor techniques that will make your sunset shine. What better inspiration than the beautiful sunsets over Lynn Shore Drive? \nJoin French artist Emmanuelle Le Gal for an evening of watercolor painting in a welcoming and creative atmosphere. Learn watercolor techniques through live demonstrations and hands-on practice\, with guidance for all experience levels.\nBeginners and experienced artists are all welcome!\n\nThis is a wonderful opportunity for Emmanuelle to share her love of watercolor and help grow a vibrant local art community.\n\nJuly Workshop: Paint a glowing sunset in watercolor\nWednesday\, July 8 from 5 – 7:30 PM\nCost: $25 per workshop\nAll materials included\, limited to 15 students — first come\, first served\n\nEach month will feature a new subject\, with future workshop dates coming soon.\nPlease click here to register\n\nCome relax\, create\, and enjoy the beauty of watercolor this summer. Emmanuelle is the recipient of a Lynn Cultural Council grant\, allowing her to offer six watercolor workshops at a reduced price.
