Mayor McGee signs proclamation for National Gun Violence Awareness Day & COVID-19 update

From Mayor Thomas McGee’s office: Today, June 5th, 2020, I signed a proclamation for National Gun Violence Awareness Day. Our local law enforcement, elected officials and community members must continue to work together to find solutions to reduce the many senseless acts of gun violence within our city. For far too long, members of our community have had to mourn the loss of our loved ones to unnecessary acts of gun violence. I encourage everyone to honor the lives of gun violence victims and survivors and commit to reduce gun violence within our community and across the country.
