Official, certified Nov. 3rd election results for the City of Lynn
From the City of Lynn Elections Office: Below are the official results for the November 3, 2020 Presidential Election in Lynn. Our total number of registered voters in Lynn reached an all-time high of 56,041 while this Election produced our highest number of voters at 36,026, all who either voted by mail, early voted or voted in person at the Polls.
As the saying goes, “It takes a Village” and I am so thankful to my amazing Election co-workers, Karen, Sarah and Deb, our Poll workers (who volunteered to work “early voting” and at our polling locations), Mike Donovan and his Inspectional Service Staff and the School Department for assisting in logistics to help make our voting locations safe for the public. A special thank you to our City Hall Custodian Israel, who assisted in sanitizing, moving equipment and making our building safe every day along with our Public Health Director Michele Desmarais, for her guidance on Covid-19 safety regulations.
Many thanks also to our I.T. Department Pete and Steve, who have worked with us every day for the past 2 months processing and delivering over 22 thousand mail ballots! It is truly a pleasure to work with so many dedicated people. On behalf of my entire staff, we would like to wish everyone a healthy and blessed Thanksgiving!
Be kind, be well, stay safe,
Janet L. Rowe
City Clerk – Election Chief
