DESCRIPTION:From the St. Pius V School: We invite our alumni\, school families\, and all members of our community to join us in celebrating the legacy of Saint Pius V School. \nThe evening will include dinner and a Pot o’ Gold-themed Reverse Raffle. In a reverse raffle\, tickets are gradually eliminated until a single ticket remains\, winning the $5\,000 grand prize. No more than 200 reverse raffle tickets will be sold\, offering excellent odds to win! \nA reverse raffle is a drawing event where participants are eliminated one by one until only one or a few tickets remain to win the grand prize of $5\,000. SUMMARY:The 50th Annual Great Stew Chase
DESCRIPTION:From the Wyoma Lions Club: The Great Stew Chase is a 15-kilometer road race held annually in Lynn\, Mass.\, organized by the Wyoma Lions Club. The race is the third oldest 15K in the US\, having started in 1975. \nMost run the full 15K at 10:00AM. Two alternatives are offered. One is a 9:30AM start for slower runners and the second is a 2 person relay with each person running half the distance starting at 10:00AM. Course Limit is 2 Hours. Anyone expecting to be close to the two hour finishing limit can start at 930am. The course will be marked. \nAfter the run\, the runners will be treated to a bowl of traditional stew. \nRegistration costs for 15K individual\n\n\n\n$45.99 until January 9\n$51.49 from January 10 – 31\n$62.48 on race day\, February 1\n\nRegistration costs for 2 by 4.6 mile relay\n\n\n\n$56.99 until January 9\n$67.98 from January 10 – 31\n$78.98 on race day\, February 1\n\n\n\n\n\nClick here for more information and to register\nIf you have questions please email m_erwich@yahoo.com or call 978-394-5595. \n__________________ \nMap of route\nClick for enlarged image \n \n\nAbout the Wyoma Lions Club\nWyoma Lions Club has long engaged itself in community service and fundraising. DESCRIPTION:From the Community Minority Cultural Center: In commemoration of the birthday of our great civil rights leader\, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr.\, the Community Minority Cultural Center\, Inc.\, (CMCC) will hold its 39th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr.  Breakfast. Please join us on Monday\, January 19\, 2026. \nThe Community Minority Cultural Center (CMCC) is hosting this year’s event at Knights of Columbus\, 177 Lynnfield Street\, Lynn MA at 09:00 AM. We are honored to have City Councilor Nicole McClain and founder of North Shore Juneteenth of Lynn as our keynote speaker. The cost of the tickets for the breakfast will be $55.00 for adults and $20.00 for children 12 and under.
