2023 Preliminary Election – How did Lynn vote? (Updated)

On Tuesday, September 5th the City of Lynn held its Primary Elections, ahead of the Final Election on November 7th. This year there are 4 Councilor At-Large seats & 6 seats on the School Committee up for grabs. There are also contested races for Ward Councilor in Wards 1, 2, & 4. Ward Councilors Alinsug in Ward 3, Chakoutis in Ward 5, Hogan in Ward 6, & Walsh in Ward 7 are all running unopposed.

In wards 1 & 4 only the top 2 candidates will advance to the November election. In Ward 1 candidates Dr. Peter Meaney & Jeff Newhall will advance while in Ward 4 Natasha Megie-Maddrey & Donna Coppola will advance.
