2024 Presidential Primary Voting Information

The City of Lynn’s Presidential Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, with polls open from 7am – 8pm. There are currently have 60,779 registered voters in the City of Lynn and over 5,000 have requested and have been  sent “vote by mail ballots”. Vote by mail and Early Voting in City Hall are both good options if people are worried about weather conditions on election day or if they are planning to be away on March 5th.

Below is some information to help you vote, courtesy of the City of Lynn Election Office!

To all inhabitants of the City of Lynn who are qualified to vote in the PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY on March 5, 2024.  The polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.  All citizens will, in the several precincts in which they are entitled to vote, give their votes on one Presidential Preference, State Committee Man, State Committee Woman and Ward Committee. Sample Ballots for all Wards and Precincts are available on the City website and in the Election office for public viewing.

*EARLY VOTING will be held in City Hall on February 24 and 25, 2024 from 8am-2pm and on February 26 – March 1, 2024 during regular business hours.

A todos los habitantes de la ciudad de Lynn que estén calificados para votar en el PRIMARIO PRESIDENCIAL el 5 de marzo de 2024.  Las urnas abrirán a las 7:00 a.m. y cerrarán a las 8:00 p.m.  Todos los ciudadanos, en los diversos recintos en los que tienen derecho a votar, darán su voto sobre una Preferencia Presidencial, un hombre del Comité Estatal, una mujer del Comité Estatal y un comité de barrio. Las boletas de muestra para todos los barrios y distritos están disponibles en el sitio web de la ciudad y en la oficina electoral para vista pública.  

*VOTACIÓN ANTICIPADA se llevara a cabo en el ayuntamiento el 24 y 25 de febrero de 2024 de 8am a 2pm y del 26 de febrero al 1 de marzo de 2024 durante el horario comercial habitual.


REGISTER TO VOTE AND/OR CHANGE PARTY AFFILIATION

  • The last day to register to vote in the March 5 election and/or change your party affiliation is Friday, February 24.
  • Register online by clicking here.
  • Register in-person at the Lynn Election Office in Room 203 of Lynn City Hall.
  • Check your registration status:
  • You should receive a confirmation notice in 2 to 3 weeks. If you do not receive a confirmation notice, or wish to confirm your voter registration status, please call 781-586-6803, email sbullock@lynnma.gov, or to check online please click here.

Vote by mail

  • Applications to vote by mail in the March 5 election must be received by Tuesday, February 27 at 5pm.
  • If you are not able to vote in person, you can apply to vote by mail. You do not need a reason to vote by mail.
  • Voters can return the ballot in person, at the 24/7 vote mailbox in the Johnson St parking lot, or by mail.
  • Vote by mail applications, and more, can be found by clicking here.
  • Voted ballots must be received in the Election office on/by Election Day at 8pm (close of polls).
