Lynn Snow Removal Operations Underway February 26 & 27
From the City of Lynn: There will be enhanced targeted snow removal from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Thursday, February 26th. An additional notice will be provided on Friday, February 27th.
A targeted parking ban on the affected streets will be in effect for the duration of snow removal operations. Clearance of these specific areas is prioritized as a matter of public safety. Residents are encouraged to utilize municipal parking lots as an alternative to street parking, there will be no charge.
The City has identified priority streets and affected residents have been notified via RAVE.
If you live on the following streets, please refer to the signage in your area:
- Exchange Street
- Endicott Street
- Lyman Street
- Johnson St. (Partial)
- Woodman Street
- Waterhill Street
- Bridge Street
Recommended Municipal Parking lots:
- Buffum St. Lot
- Ellis St./ School St. Lot
- Andrew St. Lot
- Avoid 24hr permit parking spots
- Johnson St. Lot
- After 7am, all vehicles parked in lots are subject to ticketing and towing
Residents within the designated areas are advised to remain observant for red signage matching the provided example below:

Towed cars will be located at 389 Blossom Street (Lynn Ferry Terminal Site)
Please be advised that the Department of Public Works (DPW) will conduct concurrent snow removal operations throughout the city. These specific efforts do not require a parking ban.
