On March 24, 2025 the City of Lynn and the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Hal cut the ribbon for their new accessible elevator at the building. This project, funded by City ARPA funds, marks a major milestone in making the building inclusive for everyone. Following the ceremony there was a tour to celebrate the progress made and get a first look at the vision for the future of the GAR.
