Students to Be Honored in Lynn Ceremony Monday, June 8

From Lynn Community Health Center: Nearly 70 Lynn-area young people will celebrate a different kind of graduation Monday, finishing the first-ever community health fellowship in Lynn aimed at empowering young people to take charge of their wellness journey, while gaining critical workforce training and leadership skills.

These students are the first group to spend a year working to improve health outcomes and close life expectancy gaps in Lynn by fostering a new generation of healthcare leaders. This program is a unique collaboration between the health center, health care professionals, local high schools and community organizations. Student Fellows, health care mentors, representatives from local high schools, and leaders from Lynn Community Health Center and Atrius Health Equity Foundation will be featured at the event.
