Digital Equity Study Looking For Responses From The Public
The Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) has launched the Massachusetts Statewide Digital Equity Survey to better understand the needs of Massachusetts residents when it comes to computers and internet access.
This important survey will help MBI to develop a comprehensive Digital Equity Plan for the state and ensure that all Massachusetts residents can fully experience the opportunities that come from having the access and skills to use computers and the internet in their everyday life.
This important survey will help inform the Commonwealth’s investment of historic funding to provide improved connectivity for all residents of Massachusetts, increasing access to education, healthcare, civic engagement, economic, and other opportunities. We would like to make sure your voice is heard and that the Commonwealth’s plans reflect the unique needs in our communities.
The survey is available in 9 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Russian, Arabic, and Khmer. You can select the language of your choice from the top-right corner of the survey page (linked below).
The survey is completely anonymous. Questions are optional, unless specified otherwise. You may skip all optional questions. You can exit the survey at any point and return to the same page where you left by coming back to this website. We do not ask for any personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email, address). We collect demographic information so that we can make sure we are representing all neighborhoods, towns, cities and demographic groups across the Commonwealth, and to enable municipal planning efforts as well as statewide planning.
