City of Lynn Launches Pilot Rodent Abatement Program
The City of Lynn has launched a Pilot Rodent Abatement Program, which is starting within the Pine Hill and Summer Street neighborhoods. The City wants to emphasize that only residents residing in these neighborhoods should fill out the form to participate.
Residents participating in the program will agree to have inspectors on-site to “inspect and to do any and all work related to the Rodent Abatement Pilot Program”. It is also possible for the program to include periodic inspection and depositing of baits, traps, poisons and pesticides. Those participating can also choose their preferred abatement method: Bait boxes, Traditional Rodenticide, ContraPest (birth control), or Traditional Snap Boxes.
Residents can find out more information about the program with the buttons below, which take you to online applications. There is no deadline to apply. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Inspectional Services Department at 781-586-6820 or isdonline@lynnma.gov.
