One of the goals Eliot Community Human Services has for this year is to continue the conversations on topics that are relevant to the families they serve, keeping in mind their needs, cultural backgrounds and social expectations. Eliot CHS, MSPCC and other local organizations are excited to invite you to their first Community Conversation Summit, scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th from 4 – 6 PM at the Demakes Family YMCA.
Eliot’s goal is to have teachers, first responders, social workers, family partners, community partners and other professionals who are currently working with parents and families to attend the event. The two hours presentation will be lead in a TedTalk style, shared by 4 – 5 presenters, in addition to a focus panel leading the conversation on Parents Mental Health
Office of the Surgeon General (OSG) .
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is only open to individuals that work with parents of children under 18, and you must register in advance.
