Mayor Jared C. Nicholson’s office will again host Lynnside Out, a festival geared to connecting residents with City departments and provide information on upcoming initiatives and City services.

The event will take place at Frederick Douglass Park in Central Square on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

City Departments and other agencies that will be represented include: Mayor’s Office, EDIC/Lynn, City Clerk, Community Development, Inspectional Services, Parking, Personnel, Public Health, Planning, City Council, DPW, Fire, Police, Veteran Services, Lynn Public Schools, LHAND, Lynn Community Health Center, and Grand Army of the Republic.

There will be free food from Lynn businesses including D’empanadas, Shoreline Grill, Golden Monkey Café, Phinix Lounge, Fauci’s Pizza and Mino’s Roast Beef, and family-friendly activities including music, face painting, and a bounce house.

“We’re excited to bring back Lynnside. We want residents to know that City Hall is a place for everyone and the departments and our office are always available for any support and assistance they may be seeking. Lynnside Out is a great way to connect residents with the initiatives that we are working on at City Hall and to keep them engaged with ongoing projects that require their input to be successful.”

– Mayor Jared Nicholson
