Food For Mood: A 4-Part Workshop on Eating for Emotional Health

Come and learn about the important connection between food and mood. You will be introduced to the food as medicine approach to emotional health management and learn how it can help you feel better, think more clearly, and boost your energy level. Naturally!

Our four-part workshop series will look at the evidence, assess why this approach is necessary, and explore the ways in which eating patterns affect our emotional health. Each week will focus on a vital area of eating for optimum mental health with a special treat on week 4!

WEEK TWO: Diet and Emotional Health
The basic: depression, anxiety, cognitive health and diet. The 3 foes of good emotional health. The 3 amigos of good emotional health.

WEEK THREE: Making Healthy Changes; Setting Goals
Where to start, Assessing individual needs, What is a food mood journal? Addressing obstacles

WEEK FOUR: Putting it all together
Suggestions for simple, delicious snacks and meals Healthy cooking demonstration with samples
