“Tides of Love” — A Beach Labyrinth Experience
August 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am EDT
Join UUCGL in creating a labyrinth with “Labyrinth Lady” Ricia Fleming on August 25, 2024 at 10am on King’s Beach. This beach has been the focus of much concern for years, and they want to bring healing and grateful energy to it.
Have you ever created or walked a labyrinth? It is a unique spiritual experience. Labyrinth walking is an ancient practice used by many different faiths for spiritual centering, contemplation, and prayer. It is a form of active meditation. Entering the serpentine path of a labyrinth, you walk slowly while quieting your mind and focusing on a spiritual question or prayer.
All are welcome for this free event! Hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn and community partner Save King’s Beach.
Things to know:
- King’s Beach is located at 153 Lynn Shore Drive (right across from the Christian Scientist Church). We will gather on the end of the beach near Red Rock Park.
