The Lynn Family Resource Center is in the process of creating a new group for the community that focuses on Parent and children engagement, and has launched a survey to gather feedback. The FRC helps assist families, individuals, and children with resources they need such as family support groups, mentoring, LGBTQ support, diaper registration, clothing, and more.
With this feedback from the community, a program will be created at the FRC that will focus on creating greater bonding moments between the parents and their children based on the engaging activities that are needed through the community. Angela Gomez, a BSW Intern From Salem State University, is in the process of creating this new Parent and Child engagement Group for the FRC and can be reached at agomez@centerboard.org.
There is not an official deadline, but the community has until the end of January to help submit ideas.
