Snow advisory information from the City of Lynn
The snow parking ban will be lifted on Tues, February 13th at 2pm. Cars should be retrieved from parking lots by 7pm tonight. Any cars left after 7pm will be subject to ticketing/towing. Towed cars are located at the Centre Street Lot (behind the Western Ave. Fire Station) and can be retrieved until 10pm tonight. The tow lot will reopen at 7am the following morning. | La prohibicón de estacionar en la nieve se levantará el martes 13 de febrero a las 2pm. The City of Lynn is under the following advisories:
- Winter Weather Advisory: Until Tuesday at 7pm
- WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED
- Storm total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
- Gale Warning: From Tuesday at 7am until 10pm
- For Boston Harbor
- Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
- Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe conditions.
- Coastal Flood Watch: From Tuesday at 12pm until 5pm
- One to two feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways (4.0 to 14.3 feet Mean Lower Low Water). Significant beach erosion along the coast.
- Many coastal roads become impassable around high tide. Flooding 1 to 2 feet deep affects some coastal roads and low lying areas from Revere and Winthrop through Boston to the South Shore and communities along Cape Cod Bay. Flooding also affects roads near Edgartown Harbor and Nantucket Harbor, and approaches Five Corners in Vineyard Haven.
- Minor flooding is possible during the early Wednesday morning high tide.

North Shore Community College
NSCC will be closed Tuesday, February 13 due to inclement weather. All day and evening classes and activities at all NSCC locations are canceled, and all college offices and services are closed.
KIPP Academy
Due to the snow tomorrow, ALL KIPP Massachusetts schools are closed on Tuesday, February 13th. This includes any after school activities or programs on February 13th.

City Council Meeting Postponed
due to the forecasted snow storm on Tuesday, Council President Walsh has canceled the Council Meetings on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Committee Meetings and Public Hearings will be rescheduled to Tuesday, February 27.
Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development
Our offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday February 13, 2024 due to the incoming snow storm. Staff will be working from home and all emails will be answered in a timely manner. The office is planned to reopen on the following day, Wednesday February 14.
Lynn Community Health Center
From February 12: Due to severe weather predictions, LCHC’s buildings will be closed on Tuesday, February 13th. LCHC Call Center will remain open. Bridgewell
From February 12: Bridgewell’s day programs, headquarters, and transportation will be closed on Tuesday, February 13 due to the expected storm. All Bridgewell outpatient clinic physical sites will be closed, but appointments will continue via telehealth. Any questions, please contact your clinician.
Girls Inc.
Please note that Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn programs and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13th due to inclement weather.
LEO INC
Due to dangerous weather conditions, all LEO offices and early education centers will be closed on Tuesday, February 13. Please be careful out there and we will see you soon.
RAW ART WORKS
