Girls Inc offering college prep program, mentorship opportunities
Girls Inc. of Lynn is currently recruiting high schoolers for their new college prep program, as well as college mentors. It’s open to high school juniors and seniors in the North Shore and more information is below.
High School Juniors and Seniors
Are you a rising junior or senior in Lynn/North Shore? Want to learn about college and receive support with applications?
Join Girls Inc. of Lynn’s NEW program, Project Accelerate! Project Accelerate is a college prep and career readiness program. It starts your last two years of high school and continues until you enter the workforce after college.
Juniors will meet every Thursday 5:30-7:00pm from Oct – May.
Seniors will meet every Monday 4:00-5:30pm and every Tuesday 5:30-7:00pm from Sept – May.
Dinner is provided! In addition to that, everyone will participate in a summer “bootcamp” at Girls Inc. from August 14-25, 10:00am-3:00pm.

College Mentor Volunteering
Girls Inc. of Lynn is seeking volunteers to be mentors in their college access program!
Mentoring is a special opportunity where you will be matched individually to a high school senior to support throughout the school year with every step of their college and scholarship applications. You and your teen will meet weekly in-person for program at Girls Inc. on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00pm with dinner provided.
