The Lynn DPW is reminding Lynn residents about the various ways to dispose of excess trash this holiday season. Below are some of the various methods Lynn residents can take advantage of.

Purple Overflow Bags:
- Purchase at the DPW or Various location listed on flyer. 5 bags for $15
- For excess TRASH not recycling. Maximum of 2 purple bags placed on top of your trash barrel on your trash day.
- Any bags or trash left on the ground will not be picked up.Â
White Goods:
- Turner Inc – 225 Commercial St.
- Monday-Friday: 6am – 3:30pm
- Saturday: 6:30-11am
- For disposal of Appliances for FREE
COVANTA DayS:
Formerly “Dumpster Days”
- Covanta – 247 Commercial St
- Next date is January 8, 2021. Upcoming dates on flier below.
- Bulky items, trash, furniture.No Construction materials. No Uhauls or Commercial Vehicles.
- Free to Lynn Residents w/ID
DPW Yard:
- 250 Commercial St M-Th 8:30 to 2:30pm
- TV’s and Computer Monitors per $25 each
- Mattresses $20 per Mattress
- Fluorescent Light Bulbs Free
Curbside Bulk Item Pick-up:
- Please call Waste Management: 1-800-972-4545
- Cost $23.50 per item. Pay over phone, WM will provide a time and date to place item curb side for pick-up.
