ISD TO GO PAPERLESS – ANNOUNCES ONLINE PORTAL
From Mayor Nicholson’s Office –
Less Paper, More Efficiency
Lynn, MA – Continuing with the mission to provide the city and its residents with great customer service, the City of Lynn’s Inspectional Services Department is proud to introduce its online portal for permitting and payments. The portal can be accessed by visiting lynnisdportal.com.
The portal provides contractors and homeowners with more control and visibility to their projects. Contractors and homeowners can see all permits applied and paid for, check the permit status, and check inspection dates all in one convenient dashboard.
As of November 1, 2022, contractors and residents of the City of Lynn will have the ability to apply and pay for their permits online. ISD will still accept paper applications in-person or via email to permitting@lynnma.gov until January 1, 2023, at which time all permitting must be completed online.
No computer at home or need help navigating the portal? No problem! There are two public computers in the ISD office in Room 403 at City Hall and staff is on hand to assist.
Additionally, residents can submit complaints online at lynnisdcomplaints.com. People will still have the option to submit their complaints anonymously, with the added benefit of creating a PIN to check the status of the complaint.
If you have questions or seek more information, contact ISD at permitting@lynnma.gov or call 781-586-6820.
If you have a news story that you would like to share, please contact us via email or call 781-780-9460.
