LCTV updates, postponement of annual meeting | July 13, 2021
It’s been great to see some of you coming back to produce shows in our studios and signing out equipment again. We’ve also welcomed three new members since we’ve reopened the doors and look forward to many more.
There have been some bumps along the way to being fully operational, however.
Since Friday morning, July 9th, we’ve experienced internet outages and phone issues. Internet issues were resolved today, but the main phone number will take a little longer to port to a different service provider in order to fix the problem. So, if you have email, please communicate with us that way. Our general inbox is info@lynntv.org.
During the pandemic, we focused on helping other organizations produce and air their virtual annual meetings and other events. To the extent that things are still happening virtually, we would like to still be of assistance. (See the recent virtual Frederick Douglass reading, for example.) The Board of Directors also decided to not have a virtual LCTV annual meeting last year in June, but to postpone ours until we could have it safely in person.
This year, due to continued Covid concerns, and the timing of when the Governor’s rescinded emergency order takes effect, the Board of Directors is planning to have our in person annual meeting in June of 2022.
You are all welcome to come see us and to use our improved facilities. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Seth Albaum
Executive Director
