“We are delighted to have Stefanie on board,” said Selvin Chambers III, Executive Director of LFCS. “She has the right personality and skillset to work with our service community and corporate leaders to advance our fundraising and marketing activities.”

The Director of Advancement, a member of LFCS’s five-member executive team, is responsible for coordinating the organization’s fundraising and marketing activities. Stefanie brings a wealth of knowledge to LifeScene Family & Children Services from her time spent as a formally trained Diversity Practitioner for over 10 years and most recently the Director of Business Marketing and DEI Communications at diversity consulting firm PrismWork.  Her work focused on business development, executive training and the creation of equity and diversity strategy programs. The result, lasting culture change within company policies, practices, and procedures across the entities of government, non-profit, for-profit, start-ups and corporate.

By 2019, department revenue grew by 225% from her insights, service, and upscaling programming resulting in the Creative Boot Camp main program service sites from 8 to 18.  This included shifting their annual tent-pole event titled Here Are All the Black People from a student only service track to include executive and mid-level participants resulting in major sponsor and attendee growth. Sponsor engagement resulted in $60K of new revenue and attendee participation grew from 600 to 1,200 people.

Stefanie’s primary responsibilities will be to coordinate and advance LSCFS’s annual endowment individual and corporate giving campaigns, and to smoothly integrate a complementary and comprehensive fundraising efforts as well as creating new development campaigns and initiatives.
