Lynn LGBTQ+ History Project seeking stories & information

We received the following message from Jim Moser, Project Director for “Through a Rainbow Lens, A Reflection on Lynn’s LGBTQ+ History” looking for stories and information to help them with their project:

I am documenting LGBTQ+ bars in Lynn as part of United Lynn Pride’s history project and I am reaching out to people who I think might have a good memory of the past. I’ve gone through past issues of the Lynn Item and compiled the table below. I’d love your comments.

In particular, do you know the name and/or dates of a short-lived lesbian bar at Seaport Landing, possibly connected with Joanne Patrizi MacDonald? Do you know someone who might know? Do you know anything about “the Gay Blade”, possibly on Central Ave?

Thank you!

Jim Moser
