Lynn Parks & Rec releases 2023 summer parks & activities information
The following parks will be supervised from July 10th – August 11th
Monday through Thursday 9:00AM – 3:00PM|
Fridays 9:00AM-2:00PM
The City of Lynn will provide Park Instructors to the parks listed below. The Parks Program is available for children 6 years or older. No child is required to remain at the park. We do not provide INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISION or DAYCARE. On Rainy days the parks will be closed.
All Programs are available – pending funding.
- Flax Pond Playground
- Gallagher Playground
- Gowdy Park
- Cook Street Playground
- LynnWoods Playground
- Neptune Boulevard Playground
- Williams Ave Playground
- Linear Park
Tuesday, July 11th– Planting Day selected parks starting at 9:30 and gradually moving to each park. This event is sponsored through Lynn Parks and Recreation, and hosted by Salvy the Florist.
Friday, July 28th – Bike Safety Day 10:00 – Noon at Manning Field parking lot, this FREE event is being sponsored by the Lynn Police Dept. Kids should bring their bikes to the park on Friday. Buses will transport kids and a DPW truck will transport their bikes. Lynn Police will set up a bike course, there will be water bottle giveaways and there will be a raffle for a Girls and a Boys Bike!
