Lynn YMCA offering free memberships to 7th & 8th graders

The Demakes Family YMCA is pleased to offer 7th and 8th Grade students who live in Lynn the opportunity to get a free Membership to the YMCA. We know students need a safe and fun place to be afterschool, and the YMCA is providing space for students to participate in everything the YMCA has to offer.

In response the recent violence, the Ys Board of Directors agreed to fund free memberships for 7^th and 8^th graders in the City of Lynn. Some quick highlights of this program:

Any 7^th or 8^th grade NEW memberships will be free
- The YMCA is not able to credit or refund existing members.
- Also open to Lynn residents that attend another school (example: Pioneer Charter in Saugus)
This program begins enrolling September 25th.
All memberships must be redeemed at the Demakes Y, located at 40 Neptune Blvd.
Adults must come into the Y to complete this paperwork and sign off on the code of conduct with their student.
All applications must have at least 2 working numbers in the event an adult needs to be contacted.
Hot meals are served daily at the Y from 3pm-5pm.
