From Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras (NMYO): Now accepting audition registrations, the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras (NMYO) is looking for young musicians to join its ensembles for the winter and spring session of its 2025-2026 Concert Season.

If your child is looking for a great place to play their instrument, perform in concert, and socialize with other young musicians who enjoy playing as much as they do, then NMYO is the perfect place!

String musicians, with at least one to two years of lessons, are invited to audition. Woodwind, brass, and percussion students, who have played for at least two years and are taking private lessons, are also welcome. Get more information, view audition standards, and register for your audition today at nmyo.org/auditions.

NMYO offers five groups this year including two levels of string ensembles, two full orchestras, and a wind ensemble for intermediate and advanced winds, brass, and percussion.

All NMYO ensembles will perform at the Afternoon of Spring Concerts in May. Symphony Orchestra musicians will also present a chamber music concert in March at the Shore Country Day School Theater.

The regular rehearsal and concert schedule is supplemented with master classes, enrichment days, chamber music, and community service outreach concerts to underserved populations. Rehearsals are held weekly just off I-95 and Route 1 in Topsfield/Boxford. NMYO is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
