The Millennium Latino Project, 501c 3 nonprofit creating culturally grounded spaces, hosted it’s 2nd Annual La Cultura Festival at Lynn Harbor Park on Saturday. These photos capture a small portion of performances, vendors and activities that took place.
“Our work is grounded in building financial stability, preparing individuals for success, fostering community belonging, and creating clear pathways to long-term opportunity.”
From the photographer:
The majority of these photos were taken with an antique Leica Portrait lens (Elmar, 90mm) adapted to work on a modern digital camera. Manual focusing during action also takes patience and practice. Before modern lens coatings, color photography would be lower contrast. Minor editing boosted contrast and color. Two photos have been edited to mimic film photography – for fun.
