Road Work/Traffic Advisory: Overnight Detours on Broadway Between Wyoma Square and Mayfair Street Through September 5th

Detours in place Sunday through Thursday nights, from 8pm to 5am the following morning, beginning Sunday, July 27, through Friday, September 5

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing temporary overnight detours on Broadway between Wyoma Square and Mayfair Street in Lynn. The detours will be in effect Sunday through Thursday nights, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning, starting Sunday, July 27, and continuing through Friday, September 5. 

These overnight detours are necessary to allow crews to safely and efficiently perform full-depth roadway reconstruction and paving. 

The work is part of a $4.9 million roadway reconstruction project on Broadway in Lynn.  

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place to guide drivers through the work area during work operations. 

Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

Desvíos vigentes de domingo a jueves por la noche, de 8:00 p.m. a 5:00 a.m. de la mañana siguiente, comenzando el domingo 27 de julio hasta el viernes 5 de septiembre.

El Departamento de Transporte de Massachusetts (MassDOT por sus siglas en inglés) anuncia desvíos temporales por la noche en Broadway entre Wyoma Square y Mayfair Street en Lynn. Los desvíos entrarán en vigencia de domingo a jueves por la noche, desde las 8:00 p.m. hasta las 5:00 a.m. de la mañana siguiente, comenzando el domingo 27 de julio y continuando hasta el viernes 5 de septiembre.  

 Estos desvíos durante la noche son necesarios para permitir a los equipos realizar de manera segura y eficiente la reconstrucción y pavimentación de carreteras en toda su profundidad.

 La obra es parte de un proyecto de reconstrucción de carreteras de 4.9 millones de dólares en Broadway en Lynn.

Se colocarán señales adecuadas y habrá acompañamiento policial para guiar a los conductores por el área de trabajo durante las operaciones de trabajo.

Los conductores que viajan por la zona deben esperar retrasos, reducir la velocidad y tener precaución.
