City of Lynn Snow Emergency Parking Ban ENDS today, Friday, January, 7, 2022, at 4:00 PM.

Please remove all vehicles parked in designated City lots by 6:00 PM, Friday, January7th. All vehicles still in designated City lots will be subject to ticketing and towing.

A reminder that Waste Management Trash and Recycling collection will not be collected today and have a one day delay.

The Lynn DPW and the Fire Department ask residents to clear any catch basins or fire hydrants that are in front of their property if they are able to.

If your vehicle has been towed during the storm due to a violation of the Snow Emergency Parking Ban, you can retrieve it at the City’s tow lot located on Centre St. (behind the Western Ave Fire Station) which is open until 6pm tonight and open again at 8am tomorrow. $170 tow fee and $35 a day storage fee (cash only).

NSCC will be closed Friday, January 7 due to the predicted snow storm. All NSCC scheduled classes, activities and clinicals are cancelled, and all college offices and services will be closed.

Due to inclement weather, ALL KIPP MA SCHOOLS will be closed tomorrow, January 7th. All KIPP schools will also be virtual from Jan. 10-14, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.

A Snow Emergency Parking Ban will go into effect in the City of Lynn starting at 10:00 PM today, Thursday, January 6, 2022. Residents can move their vehicles to designated city parking lots beginning at 3pm.

No vehicles may park on a public street, sidewalk or at end of dead-end streets. You may face a $170 tow fee (cash only), $150 ticket and a $35 a day storage fee. The tow lot entrance is on Centre St (behind the Western Ave Fire Station).

Lynn Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 7, 2022.

Lynn City Hall and the Lynn Public Library will be closed on Friday, January 7, 2022 due to the use of the Employee Parking lot by area residents during the snow emergency parking ban.  

Waste Management Trash and Recycling collection will be delayed tomorrow by one day.

Due to the inclement weather, the Lynn Health Department COVID-19 vaccination Clinic scheduled on Friday, January 7, 2022 will be cancelled. All appointments will be rescheduled for Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Lynn City Hall 4th floor at the same time as your previous appointment. Lynn Community Health Center Testing Site will be closed on Friday, January 7, 2022. LCHC vaccine appointments will take place as scheduled.

• The Covid Vaccine Clinic At Breed Middle School will Be Open Friday, January 7 from 3 PM until 5 PM. More Information Is Available On The LPS Website Homepage
• All other COVID clinics are expected to be closed, see below.
• All Lynn Public schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 7th
• The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education does not permit remote learning when schools are closed due to weather. There will be no virtual classes in session.
• For Lynn residents that need it, there is a sand/Salt mix you can get it in front of DPW on Commercial St. using your own bucket & shovel.

VIERNES 7 DE ENERO ACTUALIZACIÓN A LAS 3PM

La Emergencia por Nieve y Prohibición de Estacionamiento de la Ciudad de Lynn terminará hoy a las 4:00 PM el viernes 7 de enero.

Retire todos los vehículos estacionados en los lotes designados de la Ciudad antes de las 6:00 PM el viernes 7 de enero. Todos los vehículos que aún se encuentren en los lotes designados de la Ciudad estarán sujetos a multas y remolques.

Un recordatorio que la recolección de basura y reciclaje no se coleccionará hoy y seguirá con un día de retraso.

Lynn DPW y el Departamento de Bomberos les piden a los residentes que desalojen cualquier cuenca o hidrante de incendio que esté frente a su propiedad si pueden.

Si su vehículo ha sido remolcado durante la tormenta debido a una violación de la Prohibición de estacionamiento de emergencia por nieve, puede recuperarlo en el lote de remolque de la ciudad ubicado en Center St. (detrás de la estación de bomberos de Western Ave), que está abierto hasta las 6 pm de nuevo a las 8 am mañana. Tarifa de remolque de $170 y tarifa de almacenamiento de $35 por día (solo en efectivo)

Prohibición de estacionamiento de emergencia por nieve entrará en vigencia en la ciudad de Lynn a partir de las 10:00 pm hoy, jueves 6 de enero de 2022. Los residentes pueden mover sus vehículos a los estacionamientos designados de la ciudad a partir de las 3:00 pm.

Ningún vehículo puede estacionarse en una calle pública, acera o al final de calles sin salida. Puede enfrentar una tarifa de remolque de $ 170 (solo en efectivo), un boleto de $ 150 y una tarifa de almacenamiento de $ 35 por día. La entrada del lote de remolque está en Center St (detrás de la estación de bomberos de Western Ave).

Las Escuelas Públicas de Lynn estarán cerradas el viernes 7 de enero de 2022.
