From the City of Lynn: The Summer Youth Employment Program places youth at different sites throughout the City each year.
Each year applications for this program are made available in May, available this year from May 1 – May 29. Youth will have the opportunity to create a positive impact in their local community and undergo professional growth.
Youth must live in Lynn, be between the ages of 16-21, and be able to produce a birth certificate and social security card. Selected youth go on the City payroll and are paid 100% by various grants the City receives for youth employment. The employment program is six weeks and runs from July 6 – August 14. Youth can work up to 20 hours per week and will make $16.25 an hour.
