Recordings of Union Hospital Neighborhood Meeting & COVID-19 Tele Town Hall now available
The City of Lynn hosted a Tele Town Hall on COVID-19 last Monday night. City officials were joined by several medical experts from Lynn Community Health Center, North Shore Medical Center and North Shore Physicians Group.
Residents could join in via phone call or live streaming on their computers. There were two simultaneous events offered, one in English and one in Spanish. Below we have embedded the English-language version, for the Spanish-language version please click here.

On Monday, Nov. 23rd a virtual neighborhood meeting was conducted online to discuss re-development plans for the former Union Hospital property proposed by local developer David J. Solimine, Jr. who purchased the building and land earlier this year.

Alert from the Lynn Police Department
We have received several reports regarding thefts of catalytic converters in the past week. The suspect(s) targeted Toyota Prius vehicles that were parked in residential parking lots during the early morning hours.
Owners of these vehicles are advised to park in well-lit areas and residents are asked to call the Lynn Police Dept. to report any suspicious activity.
Strong storms to impact region today into tomorrow morning, power outages expected

- Strong winds could lyp cause isolated power outages.
- Heavy rain & embedded thunderstorms can result in localized street/highway flooding especially for the evening commute.

From Mayor McGee’s office: The Lynn Public Health Department has confirmed that as of today, the number of active, confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is 1,307 with 32 new cases today. 6,196 Lynn residents have recovered and 134 have died. The total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Lynn since March 21, 2020, including those who have died and recovered, is 7,637. - Mon – Sat 12:00pm-6:00pm
o Residents who have been tested for COVID-19 through Fallon Ambulance can call 617-765-0176 with any questions related to your COVID-19 test results.
- Call Lynn Community Health Center (781)-581-3900 to make a COVID-19 test appointment at 9 Buffum Street location
