On April 21st volunteers at the Salvation Army of Lynn packed their 10,000th box of food for seniors, disabled and vulnerable families.

We want to give a huge thank you to the North Shore Juneteenth Association, Youth Without Borders, The Kumba Foundation, City Council, community members, and many more for volunteering to make this all possible.

According to the Salvation Army they are currently serving 700-800 families a day. They have also said that their “food pantries and feeding programs remain open by providing the community with outside pick-up options. Additionally our feeding programs continue to provide bagged meals. ”

The elderly and disabled can call 781-586 -6740 and leave their name, number, & address with Councillor Darren Cyr for a drop off of food.
