Early Education funding Press Conference at LEO | June 29, 2023
LEO’s Jack Robinson Early Education Center hosted a press conference on June 29, 2023regarding state funding for Early Education Programs. MA Secretary of Education Dr Patrick Tutwiler (former LPS Superintendent), Commissioner of the Dept. of Early Education & Care Amy Kershaw, and elected officials gathered for the announcement. The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced $15Million in grants for 28 organizations in the state. LEO is receiving one of the grants, which are going to Head Start & Early Head Start programs. These programs support parents and their children in their first 5 years.
