Last Saturday, August 23rd, Ward 6 Councilor Fred Hogan hosted the 1st Annual Kite Day at Harbor Park. This was also the first event to take place at the newly opened park. The community donated over 400 kites to the cause and they could be seen flying all across the sky. There were also organizations tabling at the basketball court, free ice cream and a “launch” area with string free kites.
