This week on LCTV News we cover some of the big headlines of the past week including the City of Lynn receiving a $500k kick start for infrastructure, grad students developing a coastal erosion game focused on Lynn, open call for art, and more big news from this past week. We also show recaps of the solar eclipse viewing at the Library, student government day, and other events from over the last week.

On this edition of the Lynn Lowdown we talk with the North Shore Juneteenth Association about their upcoming Black Excellence 5K. Nicole McClain (Founder) joined us to talk about this annual 3 mile run/walk around Flax Pond that raises funds for the NSJA. Along the route the North Shore Juneteenth Association shines a light on black Americans who have done great things throughout history such as scientists, politicians, and more with their local black excellence display at the finish line.
